Our P&C is an active and committed group of parents and community members who work together with staff to organise an array of events and initiatives for the benefit of the school community.
The P&C is fundamental to raising additional resources that are used towards improving the experience for all students at Tapping Primary School. One of the main fundraisers is the school canteen, with all profits being funnelled back into the school. Events held throughout the year not only raise vital funds but also provide the perfect settings for school families to come together and connect.
All parents are welcome to attend P&C meetings, at which they are given an insight into the school’s policies and plans, and an opportunity to contribute towards maintaining a strong community spirit.
Have some time to spare or would like to contribute in some way? Support is always well-received and welcome. Please feel free to email tappingpc@gmail.com to get involved.
The School Board works in conjunction with the Leadership Team to establish the school’s strategic plan which stipulates its objectives, policies and priorities. These are monitored and amended as and when necessary.
The Board is also responsible for the financial planning necessary to fund those objectives and priorities; and reviewing and evaluating the school’s success in achieving them.
Other functions of the School Board are to determine the level of financial contributions to be requested from parents, and involvement in the school dress code. Meetings are held regularly and minutes available upon request.
