Performing Arts
The Performing Arts program at Tapping Primary School focuses on music, dance, drama and media.
The program involves many aspects such as learning the basics of a keyboard, percussion, performing to music, writing songs and then by incorporating media, we use the iMovie, VideoStar and Green Screen Apps to produce music video clips. Our drama lessons are based on the iTheatrics of Musical Theatre.
Over the years we have competed in Wakakirri, sung at The West Coast Festival and performed six Disney musicals, with students from Years 2 to 6. We also audition students from Years 1 to 6 to perform in our bi-annual event: Tapping’s Got Talent.
