English
English is organised into the following three interrelated strands that support students’ growing understanding and use of English:
- Language
- Literature
- Literacy
Together the three strands focus on developing students’ knowledge, understanding and skills in listening, reading, viewing, speaking and writing.
At Tapping Primary School we understand the importance for students to gain a strong foundation of English from the early years and we are committed to supporting students to confidently listen, read, view, speak, write, create and reflect on increasingly complex and sophisticated texts.
